1. Raw Material Preparation
The process starts with precise weighing and dispensing. Automated systems measure oils, actives, and shell materials to exact specifications. Every batch is traceable, and every ingredient is inspected before use.
2. Gelatin/Shell Preparation
For gelatin or plant-based shells, the material is melted and held at controlled temperatures. Automated systems monitor viscosity and moisture to ensure consistent shell quality.
3. Encapsulation
This is the heart of the line. The softgel machine forms, fills, and seals each capsule in one continuous motion. Fill weight, seam integrity, and shell thickness are checked automatically. Speed and pressure are constantly adjusted to maintain uniformity.
4. Drying
Fresh capsules move into rotating drying tunnels. Temperature and humidity are precisely controlled to remove moisture slowly, preventing deformation and ensuring a stable shell.
5. Washing and Polishing
After drying, capsules are washed to remove surface oils and then gently polished. This step gives them a clean, glossy finish — and ensures no residue remains.
6. Quality Inspection
Every capsule passes through automated visual inspection for defects like leaks, deformation, or discoloration. Weight and fill volume are also verified. Any capsule that doesn't meet the standard is rejected.
7. Packaging
Approved capsules move to packaging — blister packs, jars, or custom boxes. The line handles filling, sealing, labelling, and cartoning automatically.
